The trip price includes, sales tax, bait and gear rental for the day.  Everything is provided for your fishing excursion.  Just pack a lunch, dress warm, tell your friends and get on board for a day out on the Pacific Ocean. 

Free public parking is available a block away; public restrooms also available in the parking lot.

A Derby ticket costs $5 and can be purchased before your trip at the office. It is a chance to win money for the largest fish of the week or for the weekend. Proceeds provide the Westport Charter boat Association with the means to protect sportfishing opportunities on the coast during the many State and Federal fishery meetings that occur each year.  Your participation is not mandatory but it is always appreciated!!  It truly helps to support a good cause.

If you are prone to seasickness, it is helpful to take an anti-seasickness remedy the night before as well as in the morning before your trip.  Available at most pharmacies. Prescription options also available. Ask your doctor.   Seasickness happens, be prepared. Stay hydrated.

You will need a saltwater license; you can purchase a $10 one-day license in the office before your trip. Children 15 years of age and under are not required to have a license. If you are fishing multiple times a year, an annual license may suit you better.

Halibut and Salmon require a catch record card make sure to inquire about these during check in.

Dress in layers, rain gear or a waterproof coat are always a good idea, boots or nonskid shoes.  Pack a lunch and drinks.  Sunglasses, gloves, sunscreen, beanies – are just a few things to remember.  Don’t forget cash to pay fillet fees and for tips.

To truly enjoy your fishing excursion, we suggest 7 years of age and older.

There are several hotels and VRBO’s in the Westport area.  You can find many on Trivago Westport Washington or Airbnb Westport Washington.

There are many places on the waterfront. King Tide, Aloha Alabama, Merinos, Black Beards, Tap House, Blue Buoy, Bennett’s Fish Shack and Los Tres Figgie’s.  Early a.m. breakfast options are limited. Plan accordingly.
